La Ch'noue is a channel of the Les Sables-d'Olonne salt marsh, in the Vendée (France): a flat-water spot ideal for wingfoil, wing surf, windsurf and windfoil.

When the marsh is full and there is wind: from ~10-12 knots on a big wing, ~15 knots on a small wing or windsurf.

Traffic is measured with GoatCounter, without cookies and without storing IP addresses, on servers located in Germany and Finland. Fonts are served from the site itself: no third party is involved in displaying them. The home page offers a Google Maps map, which is loaded only after you click: until you do, Google receives nothing. No other page offers one. The host keeps connection logs. Email alerts: if you create an alert, your address, the name you give that alert and the criteria you choose are stored in a Google Sheets file and processed by a Google Apps Script script, under the publisher's account; Google acts here as a processor. Nothing is active until you have clicked in the confirmation message. You unsubscribe in one click from any message: the row is then marked unsubscribed, long enough to prove the request was handled, then erased. Site news is a separate mailing, subject to its own box, never ticked in advance, and it is not a condition for the alerts. Alert messages are written in French. What this site does not do: no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no sale or transfer of your address to a third party, no mailing you did not ask for.
